Jillian

Jillian just turned 6 and is in Kindergarten. She finally loves school. At first she had a hard time probably because I wasn't her teacher. Anyway, she loves reading and is getting better and better everyday. Her favorite Christmas presents were her "Learn everywhere Leapster" and her purple and pink lamp. She kept telling us over and over how much she loved her new lamp! Jillian also goes to dance class at the same place as Katy. It is a little tumbling and dance so she loves it.
Jillian loves to sing and listen to her CD's. She is my best singer in Primary! She also loves to draw, play school, and do crafts. Both Katy and Jillian and their friends play school and house in the preschool room. I would have DIED as a kid to have a school room all set up to play in!
We love Jillian's hugs. She will randomly come up to hug and kiss us and say "I just love you!" She also loves to hug Allyson a lot, which isn't always appreciated. Anyway, she is a funny girl with a spunky personality (to put it lightly...)

Jillian is a doll. After all the years she attended preschool, it's hard to believe she is truly in kindergarten. I bet her teacher just loves her. For a little while, she'd groan when I asked her for a hug upon seeing her, but now she greets me with open arms. Not too long ago, she walked into the room, noticing I was there, and said, "Melody, I didn't give you a hug yet!" and she got right to it.

What a cutie. She is so funny when I try to talk to her on the phone, like "Duh, you think I'm some kind of baby!" I'm totally out of touch with the girl scene. I'll have to get those girls out here with me sometime!

Such wonderful descriptions of your kids, and not much like those brag letters at all! Jillian IS a loving little girl and so precocious and spunky. I love to remember how she quit all her bad habits (twisting hair, sucking thumb, saying her r's wrong, etc.)at age three through sheer willpower. An infant phenomenon! (See Dickens)

Oh those days of "playing school". We would set it up in our basement. Your girls don't know how good they have it! Lucky!

Little Jillian sang for me the first time i met her. She was just older than Allyson is now. It is a sad day when they start getting too heavy for airplane rides. Jillian is so fun.
