Allyson

Last but not least, little smooches! My baby is almost 3. How did this happen? She is in the "everything that comes out of her mouth is funny" stage. The other day I just got out the video and followed her around. Allyson's best accomplishment as of late is that she quit sucking her thumb. We talked about it a few times and one day she decided that she could just rub her finger on her lip under her nose and of course still tickle her nose with her blanket. I told her I was glad she wanted to be e big girl and if she didn't suck her thumb anymore I would buy her a dolly. She has totally quit and has a new Ariel doll! On one hand I am glad that she won't warp her mouth by sucking, but now it makes her seem even more grown up. I just love this stage! Last night we were getting to bed kind of late and Todd wasn't around so I had to do the story. My imagination isn't as good as his so I usually tell fairy tales or stories about the girls. Last night I told one about her and she said "That's just Allyson in that story, well you were in it too mommy." I thought she might not realize I was cheating if I changed the names to protect the innocent.
Last year I had Cameron Dorney in preschool and Stacia took Allyson with her on errands during class. Since that time she loves to go to "Warmart" or any other store. She is my little buddy! Wilth Jillian gone in the Mornings and no preschool on Monday and Friday mornings, Ally and I have time to get out play dough, watch Dora, read books, do puzzles, play doll house people or go to the store. She loves helping me with laundry too!
Allyson loves going to church and nursery. She looks at herself in the mirror and says "Oh I look adorable!" Last week she decided to dance in the isle during the rest hymn. I couldn't stop laughing long enough to get her to quit! I could hear people several rows back cracking up! Anyway, I could go on and on about her funny self, but I better quit.
Now, all of you who gave me flack about not posting anything on my blog are probably eating your words! This probably took you and hour to read, but enjoy because who knows how long it will be until I write again. What will probably happen is that I will forget how to do everything again and I will have to call and bug Cami! Until next time!

I crack up every time I picture Allyson doing the "partridge in a pear tree" action. And at that Christmas party, I thought I'd die when she was singing with the karaoke machine plug cord as a microphone! She really is a funny one (she's a Peck kid, after all). I am so excited to teach preschool again in the fall so I can experience Allyson's antics on a more regular basis.

Oh, and congrats on the great blogs, Amber! I never doubted you. And just because I am the only sibling (besides Drew) who doesn't have a blog doesn't mean I'm completely out of the loop. I mean, I commented the day you posted, didn't I! So for now, my comments count as my blogging. Why not!?

Man, how I wish smooches could play with Ethan-pie. Those two are made for each other!! I love this age, despite the psychoticness, etc.

Mela: Jake says, "Your MOM has a blog . . . " and then says only Lili will truly appreciate that comment.

Ha-ha everyone. I only wish Allyson would give me the time of day once in a while. Oh well, she's adorable from afar.

She is getting so big! It seems like Landon was just a few months old and she was one and I was over at your house. Was that really over a year ago? Your kids are so cute. Sharla

I think you should teach your girls the dance we made up to "Say Say Say" I know we made up several others, but that is the one that really sticks with me. Also, I have some letters you wrote me -probably when you were 8- and you said "we should save these and show them to each other when we are older." Should I send you a copy of them so you can have a good laugh? Love "Gidget"
