Our Daddy...
The other day Todd jokingly asked Jordan if he had failed him as a father. I think deep down all parents wonder if they do enough for thier kids, make enough fun memories, or teach them what they need to know to be responsible adults and have a testimony of the gospel. So I had the kids write some things about their Dad. If there is one thing people know about Todd, it is that he loves his peeps, so Happy Father's Day to our awesome daddy!
Jordan: I love my dad because he comes to all my stuff, and watches and cares about what I'm doing. He helps me know what I can do better and is always supportive. I like to hang out with him and watch sports, and movies with him. It's fun to joke around with him at BYU games and we always have a good time. Some of the best memories I will always have of him are when we go on road trips together. That is when we have the most fun, and we talk and bond the most. I'm very greatful for all that he does for me, and I love my dad.
Kathryn: I love my dad because he helps me with my homework. He also comes to a lot of my softball games and cheers me on. I love to play games outside with him like hot box and just passing around the football. He always gives me good advice and helps me through hard times. I love to go on camping trips with him because he makes it so much more fun. I love my dad!!
Jillian: I love to go miniture golfing with my Dad. I love to watch movies with him like Lady Hawke. I love the song he made for me when I was a baby. It's pretty and it makes me cry when I listen to it. My Dad is hilarious and he's really nice! It was fun when my Dad took me and the rest of the kids to Moab when mom was sick with the baby. My Dad is so fun to be with, I wish I could spend more time with him. I love my Dad!
Allyson: I like him to come in the deep with me. He doesn't be mean to me. He's funny. I love him because he's my favorite Dad in the whole wide world. He gives me presents for my birthday. (Mom, are you making sure to put periods so it doesn't get stick together?) He gives me hugs and kisses. He helps me put batteries in my camera. He loves me! He comes to Home Evening and lets me share with his scriptures cause I lost mine. He built us a house. I love him so much!

So far this summer...
I thought that things would calm down a bit when school ended, but not so much! So far....
Jordan did h
is Eagle project! (I have been dreading this for years, but it was relativel
y painless because Jordan's scout leader ROCKS!) His project was to paint the bathroom at the rodeo grounds in preparation for the Pioneer Days Rodeo-that's Lehi for you! He also has been practicing with the high school football and basketball teams everyday and has been to various camps and such.
Katy has been playing softball, going to swim team every morning at 7:00 (we have already been to one meet last saturday), practicing with a soccer team she is deciding whether or not to join, getting ready for girls camp, piano lessons, and working at my preschool summer day camp on Tues and Thurs mornings.
Jillian has been playing soccer, going to swim team every morning, orchestra at Cami's, piano lessons, Classic Skating with a friend, and she got to go to Lagoon with her cousin Jack.

Allyson is taking swimming lessons which is the highlight of her day-you know, it makes her legs itch in the night just thinking about it! She has also been going to the preschool day camp and having a blast with her friends. She also found time to crash hard on her scooter and get a fat lip and scuff up her whole face and self. Luckily I got these cute swimming pics before the incident.
Between all of that, we also planted a garden with the Cluffs at their spare lot in the neighborhood, got new haricuts for all the girls, went swimming at the Lehi pool when it hasn't been freezing and raining, had lunch with the neighborhood and played on the big blowup waterslide, went to the Highland fountain splash place with cousins and friends, started our photography group with Cami, watched movies at Nana's, had sleepovers with friends, went to "the property" for smores etc., watched the Firefly series, and I started lifting and walk/running to get this fatty fat fat off my body. Ah, the relaxing days of summer....

The Hat...
One Sunday when we came home from church, I just thought baby looked so cute in this little hat. It spurred on a little photoshoot! A hat can really help a bald boy out, since there can't be any bows or such. Anyway, these pics are a little out of season since it is finally feeling like summer, but I thought they were worth posting! Also, I love sleeping pics and I put one of him loving his thumby for cuteness. The one when he has no hat on reminds me of Jordan, and the one with Ally holding him probably has to be blown up for their room! We are loving our baby bro, in fact Ally was recently devastated to find out that she won't be able to marry Brady. She was going to marry Kolby, the neighbor, but then Brady came along and stole her heart. When Ally and Jill get excited about something they say their legs itch (like swimming lessons in the morning, Chirstmas etc.) Baby Brady makes their legs itch because he is so scrumptious, and actually, I still get butterflies in my stomach when I think about him!
